The match started with a ceremony where the Legendary figure of Indian football, Baichung Bhutiya, AIFF General Secretary Shaji Prabhakaran, AIFF President Kalyan Chaubey, and the honorable Governor of Leh, Brig.(Dr.) B. In their third match, they showcased their dominance by demolishing UT Ladakh with an astounding 10-0 victory, earning their place in the finals with unwavering determination.

In the climactic final match, Delhi FC again faced the Tibetan National Team. With the championship on the line, the team fought hard against the physical challenges posed by the high altitude and the fierce competition from their opponents. Their attacks and attempts were rewarded when Akash found the back of the net at the 36th minute, followed by Tarun doubling the lead in the 46th minute. The first half concluded with an own goal during injury time, further solidifying Delhi FC’s advantage.

The second half saw a spirited battle, but Delhi FC’s tireless efforts paid off as Himanshu Jangra struck in the 50th minute, extending their lead to 5-0. Hriata added another goal in the 74th minute, leaving no doubt about Delhi FC’s dominance. In a moment of brilliance, Himanshu Jangra secured a brace with an exceptional display in the 93rd minute, sealing the game with an impressive 6-0 victory and crowning Delhi FC as the undisputed champions of the Climate Cup.

Himanshu Jangra’s outstanding performance throughout the tournament earned him the well-deserved title of the Man of the Match, having scored an impressive five goals overall. Delhi FC’s shining achievements were a testament to their unwavering spirit and incredible teamwork.
